2010 CATCH BUBBA CATFISH TOURNAMENT
IS SET FOR OCTOBER 23!
The 15th annual Catch Bubba Catfish
Tournament to benefit Downtown Ecumenical
Services Council
(DESC) will take place on Saturday,
October 23. While it’s a bit early
to get your tackle and gear
ready, you can go online to keep up
with Catch Bubba news through Facebook
(search for “Catch
Bubba” and join our growing fan base
by clicking on “Like” on the catchbubba
FB page) and via
www.catchbubba.org .
As has been true since this fun, family
tournament began, hundreds of lucky
fisherpeople will have their chance
to catch Bubba at this year’s event.
This volunteer-run tournament is held
to benefit the food and clothing operations
of DESC. All proceeds from the tournament
are used to purchase food, clothing
and provide emergency financial assistance
to those in need across the greater
Jacksonville area. The Catch Bubba Team
is trying to do its part for both the
environment and DESC’s budget by placing
this year’s registration forms and information
on
www.catchbubba.org and Facebook.
We hope you’ll bookmark those sites
and check back often so that you’re
in the know about this year’s tournament.
You can also check out photo albums
with great shots from the 2009 tournament
on both the Catch Bubba Facebook site
and on
www.catchbubba.org . And finally,
if you’d like to volunteer to help out
at this year’s tournament, send an email
